Kamei suffered from atopic dermatitis, which eventually lead to her graduation from the group and Hello! Project along with 8th generation members Junjun and Linlin on December 15, 2010. Due to inactivity and her departure from UP-FRONT AGENCY afterwards, she has effectively retired from the entertainment industry.
