Jeff Powell

Jeff Powell is a British sports journalist and author best known for his long career with the Daily Mail and for his close friendship with England football legend Bobby Moore. Over a career spanning more than five decades, Powell has covered numerous World Cups, Olympic Games and major boxing events, earning a reputation as one of the UK’s most respected sports writers. In recognition of his contribution to journalism and sport, he was appointed MBE in 2024.
